The app

Workpen runs on your computer. There is no account, no online version, and no Workpen server that receives your data. The app has no analytics, no crash reports and no update checks.

What leaves your computer. The only network traffic is to the model service you set up in Settings. When you send a message, Workpen sends that service the conversation, the rules of the attached workflows, and the contents of the files the model reads to do the job. Where that goes after that is governed by the service you chose. A local model such as Ollama keeps everything on your computer.

What stays on your computer.

Removing a chat deletes its stored data. It never touches your project folder.

This website

The site runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and no page except Contact loads anything from another company. The light and dark choice is saved in your browser only, and is never sent to the site. Like any web server, the one hosting this site keeps ordinary access logs (address, requested page, time) for running and securing the site. Those logs are not used for tracking or shared.

The contact form. Sending a message gives me your name, your email address and your message, so I can reply. The Contact page is protected by Google reCAPTCHA (v3) to filter spam. It loads a script from Google, may set a cookie, and sends Google some information about your visit, such as your address and how your browser behaves. See Google's own privacy policy for how they handle that. If you would rather not, write to the email address on the Contact page instead.

Changes

This policy may change as the app and the site change. The date above shows the latest version.
